Awards to individuals: Literature 135 fellowships: Applications are reviewed in closed session by advisory panelists from the literature field. Each panel comprises a diverse group of arts experts, as well as a knowledgeable layperson. Panel funding recommendations are reviewed by the National Council on the Arts in open session. Range of Approval/Disapproval Time: Dependent on meetings of the National Council on the Arts.
