Money can be used to support PhD candidates while they complete work towards their degree. Students must have a filly developed and approved dissertation proposal that addresses the purpose of this program. Students can request an application package from the address listed above or by calling HUD USER at 800-245-2691. Each student is eligible for up to $15,000 per year. Members of an Indian tribe may be eligible for these grants to supplement the total financial aid package prepared by the college Financial Aid officer.
