(Vocational Training for Certain Veterans Receiving VA Pensions 64.123) Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office Washington DC 20420 800-827-1000 The program objective is to assist new pension recipients to resume and maintain gainful employment by providing vocational training and other services. The program provides for direct payment of service providers for the entire cost of tuition, books, fees, supplies, and other services. The training program usually may not exceed 24 months, and participants may also receive up to 18 months of employment counseling, job search assistance, and work adjustment services.
