The program objective is to provide scholarship Sanding to financially needy minority honor students pursuing training in energy related technologies and to develop linkages with energy industries. Scholarship funds are available to defray costs of tuition, books, tools, transportation, and laboratory fees for minority students attending junior colleges and majoring in an energy related field. The Dept of Energy selects the two-year postsecondary education institutions to receive grant awards. Students must apply to those institutions that received the money.
