Scholarships for up to four years to study at any institution of higher education are available through grants to the States. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and are renewable. To apply for this grant award, interested applicants must contact their State educational agency, which administers this program. The individual State determines the application procedure. Money available: $29,117,000. The amount of money available per student is $1,500 for the first four years of undergraduate study.
