How to apply for free governments grants

more information on the process the State requires to be followed in applying for assistance, if the State has selected the program for review. Application Procedure: Not necessary; all States are eligible to participate. However, this program is subject to the provisions of OMB Circular No. A-l02. This program is excluded from coverage under OMB Circular No. A-I 10. Award Procedure: Cash assistance is allocated among the States on the basis of poverty level households (60 percent) and of unemployed persons (40 percent). At a minimum, States must make 40 percent of the administrative grant available to local agencies or expend such funds on theft behalf. Deadlines: None. Range of Approval/Disapproval Time: As required; 60 days or more. Appeals: None. Renewals: Not applicable.
